T.Srinivas Reddy first got succeed in securing TRS ticket from Mailardevpally Division in GHMC-2016 elections and defeated Premdas Goud, the younger brother of T.Prakash Goud who was seeking mandate second time on Telugu Desam ticket.

Following the crushing defeat of his brother, the MLA T. Prakash Goud – representing the constituency from Telugu Desam Party, too switched the loyalty and joined the pink fold. This has led to increased rivalry between the two groups in Rajendranagar.

Following the ever-increasing rivalry and failing in get a proper response from the party high command, the enraged T.Srinivas Reddy raise a banner of revolt against the party and jump into the battle of general elections of 2019 as an independent candidate from Rajendranagar against the own party candidate T.Prakash Goud.

However, he not only received a numbing loss against Parkash Goud but was said to have been suspended by the TRS for indulging in anti-party activities.

Later, somehow he managed to associate himself with the party by trimming his foot to fit the party’s shoe without fervently getting himself involved in the party activities. His lukewarm approach towards the party was quite evident thereafter though he tried his best to don a cheer on his face for the party all the time till he said sayonara to TRS.
