Preparations are going on in full swing for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Silver Jubilee public meeting, scheduled to be held on April 27 at Elkathurthy in Hanumakonda district. Known for organizing massive public gatherings, the BRS is leaving no stone unturned to make this event a grand and memorable affair.
The party, which is celebrating 25 years of its formation, is using this occasion not only to highlight its journey of struggle and achievements but also to present its vision for the future. According to key BRS leaders, the event will serve as a reminder of the party’s developmental milestones and political legacy while addressing the concerns of people who, they claim, have suffered under the present Congress government.
A massive venue is under construction to accommodate the anticipated crowd. A 120-feet long and 80-feet wide stage is being erected, and groundwork with gravel has already begun. To manage the estimated inflow of thousands of people and over 50,000 vehicles, arrangements are being made across 1,213 acres of land—with 154 acres designated for the main event area and 1,059 acres for parking facilities.

BRS leaders stated that the party will use the platform to reiterate its commitment to being a strong support system for all sections of society, particularly in light of the “hardships” people are reportedly facing under the current state administration. The event is expected to draw a huge turnout of party workers, supporters, and the general public from across Telangana and beyond.
With just weeks to go, all eyes are now on Elkathurthy, which will soon transform into the political epicenter of Telangana, as the BRS marks a significant milestone in its journey.
