In the run-up to the Telangana assembly elections on November 30,Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi will step up their campaigning in the state.
To promote the party’s platform, the leaders intend to speak public gatherings, participate in padyatras, and communicate with voters.
Rahul Gandhi will attend public gatherings and also go on a padayatra from Shadnagar Railway Station to Shadnagar Chowrasta, highlighting the party’s commitment to engage with people at the grassroots level, according to Congress sources. This walkabout is part of their goal to directly connect with Telangana residents and learn about their problems.
Priyanka Gandhi, on the other hand, is slated to speak at a public forum in Kollapur, where she will convey the Congress party’s vision for Telangana. She will also have meetings with women in Devarakadra about the party’s “six guarantees” for the state. The purpose of this interaction is to better understand the particular needs and objectives of women in Telangana.
On October 18, both leaders began a bus yatra throughout the state, laying the groundwork for the Congress’s campaign activities in Telangana. These activities are part of a larger plan to communicate with people, promote their party’s objectives, and directly engage the public.
Mallikarjun Kharge, President of the All India Congress Committee, has also joined the campaign, lately speaking at electoral rallies in the state. As the election date approaches, the Congress party hopes to gain momentum and support for its candidates in Telangana, making Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi’s campaign a critical aspect of their electoral plan.
