Hyderabad: The universal pulse polio immunization program would be held on the 31st of this month. The program, which was scheduled to be held on January 17, was postponed due to the launch of the corona vaccine.
The union health ministry, in a statement, has said that they had decided to hold the pulse polio immunization program on the 31st of this month.
It said that it had decided to postpone the program to pave for the launch of the corona vaccine administration program, which has been touted as the world’s largest vaccination drive, in a hassle-free manner.
It said that it consulted the Rastrpathi Bhavan before postponing the program.
