According to a press release, wine and toddy shops and bars attached to restaurants (excluding those in star hotels and registered clubs) will be closed in the Rachakonda Commissionerate from 6 am on Sunday to 6 am on Monday in observance of Sri Rama Navami.
Additionally, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has introduced 70 buses for the occasion on the 9th and 10th of April. Special buses will be available at the main intersections of LB Nagar and at MGBS, and tickets can be purchased at the reservation counters.
In the event of congestion, TSRTC officials have said they would increase the number of buses. In order to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and prevent any inconvenience to the general public, traffic diversions have been implemented within the boundaries of Goshamahal traffic police station and Sultan Bazar traffic police station on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra.

Festivities on a grand note this year
In contrast to the last two years, Sri Rama Navami celebrations will be organized on a grand scale by the State Government, and the devotees will be allowed to participate under strict adherence to Covid guidelines.
As the covid situation seems to be under control and as per the direction of the health department, there will be public celebrations this year, said a senior official from Endowments Department.
Additionally, Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy announced that the celestial wedding of Lord Sri Rama and Sri Seetha will be performed on a grand scale at the historic Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy temple, Badrachalam on April 10.
Department officials have already been instructed to decorate the Mithila Stadium – the venue for the celestial wedding, besides making elaborate arrangements to ensure devotees were not inconvenienced in any way.
