Hyderabad: After a series of meetings with the RBI management since August 30, the United Forum of Reserve Bank Officers & Employees has decided to postpone Mass Casual Leave program from September 4 and 5 to first week of January 2019 in response to the Bank’s request to give it some time to resolve the superannuation related issues.
Meanwhile, the government has asked the RBI to suggest concrete changes in RBI Pension Regulations. Today the RBI management assured the United Forum that it would be pursuing the issues steadfastly. The United Forum in its meeting today decided that if the issues linger on they would go on flash strike for two days which they have also communicated to the Bank. (NSS)
