Respect Your Mother, Father, Teachers—Governor Tells Kids

Hyderabad: Raj Bhavan is the center of attraction for schoolchildren today. As many as 1000 children drawn from different schools from various districts of Telangana gathered here as part of the Children’s Day celebrations where the Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan greeted the tiny tots.
Elaborate arrangements are made for the Children’s Festival at Rajbhavan Durbar Hall. On this occasion, the Governor congratulated the children who achieved the state and national level awards in various fields from Hyderabad, Rangareddy, and Medchal- Malkajgiri districts.
Students from the Zilla Balakendra, Suryapet district enthralled and made the audience spellbound with their fine dance performance. On this occasion, the Governor said that all children should inculcate self-discipline and self-confidence to reach the goals set for themselves. Mother, father, and the teachers are the living gods and all should respect them. She further said that she learned to love and affection from her mother, dedication and discipline from her father and hard work and determination from her teachers. The children should love and enjoy the hard work that is required to achieve their goals, she said and wished all children a bright future. (NSS)
