The decision to close down the borders has led to a huge amount of traffic jams on either side of the border.

The borders have been closed down as part of the decision of the state government to enforce an 18-hour long curfew every day in the state till 18th of this month. The border areas will also have the enforcement of section 144  of CrPC.
