Revanth Reddy consoles rape victim family members

TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy today alleged that the state government had not taken any steps on the issue of rape and murder of the six-year-old girl from the Singereni colony of Saidabad from the City. He asked the state government as to why it had failed in arresting the accused so far. He made these remarks after visiting the family members of the victim at their residence. He also extended some financial support on behalf of the party on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Revanth alleged that the state government was behaving in a cruel manner and added that it was doing injustice to the people of the state. Stating that the tribal people of the state had worked hard for the formation of a separate Telangana state, he said that it was unfortunate none of the state ministers responded on the issue so far. He claimed that the excess use of cannabis and drugs were leading to such incidents. Targeting the state home minister Md. Mahmood Ali, who adopted the Saidabad area, asked the minister why he was not visiting the area. He made it clear that the Congress party would fight on the issue till justice was done to the victim’s family.
