Revanth Reddy Inaugurates Gopanpally Flyover

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accompanied by Roads and Buildings (R&B) Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, inaugurated the new Gopanpally flyover On Saturday. The project, costing Rs. 28.5 crore, was completed by the R&B department and spans approximately one kilometer.

The flyover’s opening followed concerns raised by former Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister KT Rama Rao about the delay in its inauguration. A recent news report had also highlighted the issue, emphasizing that although the flyover was ready, it had not yet been opened for public use.

The Gopanpally flyover, which features two lanes in one direction, includes exits near the University of Hyderabad’s back gate—one towards Nallagandla and another towards Tellapur. The new infrastructure is expected to alleviate traffic congestion for commuters heading to the Financial District and the Outer Ring Road (ORR).
