Hyderabad: In protest against the alleged murder of Abdullapurmet Tahasildar Vijaya Reddy today, Telangana Deputy Collectors and Revenue officials boycotted duties. They held the State government responsible for the murder and sought protection for those working in government offices.
They condemned the brutal incident in daylight as some miscreants set the official ablaze by dousing of fuel. They called upon the remaining employees to join protest against the brutal murder of the woman official. The Deputy Collectors Association president Lachchi Reddy and Ramulu hit out at the government for poor security to them at their offices.
