Russia Expels Czech Diplomat As A Retaliatory Move

As per the latest reports, Russia has pronounced a senior Czech diplomat “persona non grata” and requested the authority to leave the country before the day’s end on April 16, the Foreign Ministry said in a proclamation.

Czech diplomat to Russia Vitezslav Pivonka was brought to the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday and was given a note educating him regarding the choice, the assertion said, Xinhua news organization revealed.

The move was made because of the ejection of a diplomat working at the Russian Embassy in Prague, the assertion added. The Czech Republic ousted a Russian diplomat from the nation in late March, news reports said.
