Hyderabad: The Saidabad police have booked cases against former IAS and IPS officers under Prevention of Atrocities on SC and ST Act. The police registered cases against former DGP of erstwhile AP Dinesh Reddy and CSRK LN Raju and former IAS officers Ratnaprabha and SV Prasad, PK Mohanty and Vidyasagar.
They were booked under Sections 201, 203, 213, 193 r/w section 34, 120B of IPC and section 156 (3) of CrPC. The case was booked following a directive from a criminal court in Nampally. The court issued directions after a woman Vatsala filed a private complaint in the court. In her complaint, she alleged that the accused had sent a wrong report to the Union government in a case related to her. The police have kept the details of the case as a secret.
