Salman khan Being human- supplying ration to the ones in need

Mumbai: After urging people to take up the ‘Anna Daan’ challenge, megastar Salman Khan is doing his bit by contributing largely to the people in need with ration supply, and helping the people who are suffering due to coronavirus induced lockdown.

On Sunday, he sent out food packets and ration from his Panvel farmhouse to those who have been hit by the lockdown following the coronavirus pandemic.

The 54-year-old actor posted a video on Instagram, in which he is seen loading ration sacks in trucks, along with Jacqueline Fernandez, Lulia Vantur, Waluscha De Sousa, and others.

“Thanks for the contribution… thank you all @jacquelinef143 @vanturiulia @rahulnarainkanal @imkamaalkhan @niketan_m @waluschaa @abhiraj88,” Salman captioned the video.

The video shows ration being carried in bullock carts, lorries, and mini trucks, with Salman thanking the vendors and drivers with a namaste. It starts with the actor giving the food packets to his companions who are passing it to each other and finally being loaded in the vehicles brought to carry them. It then shows the trucks and various vehicles leaving the premises where the ration was kept to the people who need them.

The actor has always encouraged his fans to do as much as they can for the needy and follows what he preaches. He is often seen helping the poor and giving contributions in the form of financial help and supplies. Apart from the poor, he is also known for gives expensive gifts to his co-actors, friends and family every now and then.

It is also worth noting that neither the superstar nor the friends with him were seen wearing any masks or precautionary equipment like gloves. A lot of speculation is being spewed due to this negligence on social media.

The Sultan star is currently living in his Panvel farmhouse with select family and friends. He had also pledged to financially support 25,000 daily wage workers from the film industry in the wake of the nationwide lockdown.

He had earlier posted a video on his Instagram account, urging his followers to stay home during the lockdown to contain the novel coronavirus. He recently released a song called “Pyaar Karona” in a way to keep his fans entertained during the crisis. His Instagram profile is filled with his shoutouts to his fellow actors who are starring in different new shows. He promoted Lara Dutta’s Hotstar special series called ‘Hundred’ and Jacqueline Fernandez’s Netflix movie, ‘Mrs. Serial Killer’ and brother in law, Ayush Sharma’s song, ‘Manjha’ in the past month.
