Siricilla to be commercial center: KTR

Hyderabad : Extending support to the TRS and KCR leadership in the upcoming polls weavers association today invited caretaker minister KT Rama Rao to address a public meeting in Siricilla on November 2. Rama Rao vowed to develop Siricilla his home segment as a commercial and trade hub in near future by promoting handlooms and production of clothes. A team of weavers has called on KTR at camp office here and offered to support the TRS in the Assembly polls for taking up several welfare schemes. On the occasion, KTR said that the TRS regime has focused on the development of Siricilla segment for the fast four and half years. We have introduced a unique scheme of Bathukamma and providing an income of Rs 10000 to Rs 20000 to each weaver he claimed. I am satisfied and happy for taking up development works in the segment witnessing significant changes he said. He also said that an apparel park will come up to offer jobs to 10000 women by offering modern training and skills for new designs and clothing business he said. In future Siricilla will be developed in all sectors to become a commercial center and the people of the segment will get more jobs and employment. He said that Mid Maner waters reaching the Siricilla houses and catering to the drinking water needs. (NSS)
