Hyderabad: Balaswamy and Prema Latha, parents of honour killing victim Pranay here on Friday alleged that they were still facing threat from the parents of their daughter-in-law Amrutha. They urged the police to provide protection for their family.
Addressing mediapersons here today, Balaswamy and Prema Latha said Amrutha delivered a baby boy the other day and they could live rest of their life by seeing their deceased son Pranay in their grand son. They also said though the boy was born on January 30, they did not reveal the news as they were scared of threats to his life as well. They claimed that they came to Hyderabad for the delivery of Amrutha as there was a threat for their lives from the killers of Pranay in their native Miryalaguda.
Revealing more, Pranay’s parents said they had been staying in the city for the last one month and they faced several problems in the city, including the problem of getting a rented flat for their stay. Prema Latha said owners of several buildings in the city had enquired about their caste and declined to give rooms on rent.
