Hyderabad: Sunitha Reddy, daughter of slain YSRCP leader YS Vivekananda Reddy, today expressed her shock over baseless allegations that her family members alone murdered her father.
Addressing mediapersons here, Sunitha Reddy said they were having doubts on the ongoing SIT investigation in her father’s murder case. Commenting on the allegations being levelled against her family members, she said the police would have arrested her family members and brought them before the public if her father was murdered by them. She also bemoaned that her family was being made both a victim and an accused in the case.
Sunita Reddy asked the SIT officials as to why they were not questioning State minister Adinarayana Reddy in the case as both Adinarayana Reddy and murder suspect Parameswara Reddy have close links. Making it clear that they strongly suspect Parameswara Reddy as the culprit in the case, Sunita said her father fought very hard for the victory of her cousins YS Jaganmohan Reddy and YS Avinash Reddy.
