Sonia Gandhi: Prime Minister is Doing a Grave Injustice to Farmers

New Delhi: On Friday,  Congress President Sonia Gandhi took a hit at the Prime Minister on new farm laws that have been established.

In a video proclamation, Sonia Gandhi told that the Prime Minister was doing a grave injustice to farmers by executing the black laws.

On the event of the Mahatma Gandhi birth anniversary, Sonia Gandhi brought up both Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri and said that the spirit of India lives in villages while Shastri gave the popular motto of “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan”.

“During the Congress government no law was passed without consultation with farmers or stakeholders, but in this government, laws are passed to help the crony capitalists”, as stated by the Congress President.

Sonia Gandhi said that the party alongside farmers will restrict the new laws until it becomes pointless or unnecessary while giving a case of the Land Acquisition laws. She took a jab at the government for dismissing the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC).

She furthermore said that during the pandemic the poor were given ration in view of the farmers, however, this government wants to advance the hoarders and make the farmers laborers in their own farms.

The party has just requested that its administration reverse the farm laws by passing new laws.

The party is protesting against the law all across the nation. Rahul Gandhi will do work tractor protests from Punjab from October 3 to 5, opposing the Center’s as of late instituted farm laws, party sources stated on Thursday.

All Congress MLAs and the Punjab Ministers will take an interest in the protest rallies, alongside AICC General Secretary responsible for Punjab affairs, Harish Rawat, and state president Sunil Jakhar. The fights are to provide the voice to the tension and agony of the farmers, whose job and future has been put at stake by the Central legislation, the party stated.
