Speed Up Dialysis Services to Hepatitis, Tb, Aids Patients : Harish Rao

Telangana Health and Finance Minister Harish Rao today directed the officials concerned to provide immediate dialysis services to kidney patients including, Hepatitis, TB, and Aids.

He held a high-level review meeting on dialysis services and other health wing issues under the Aarogyasri scheme.

The Minister directed that the officials set up an adequate number of dialysis units, beds, and centers to provide immediate services to TB, Aids, and other patients facing kidney problems.

The minister asked for speedy services to avoid delay by setting up more centers with beds and medicines at Hyderabad and Warangal and other districts based on requirements.

The state government spends Rs 100 cr towards 43 Dialysis centers and providing services.

The Health Minister said that there is no dearth of funds for improving health services in the state. We have to improve the dialysis services across the state, the health minister said. Health secretary Rizvi and other health officials were present.
