Hyderabad: One injured when a car crashed into a pillar of the PVNR Expressway as the driver lost control at Mehdipatnam here in the wee hours of Friday.
The Injured, identified as Rohit, a private employee, was proceeding from Asif Nagar towards Mehdipatnam when the incident occurred.
At around 1 am, when the car reached Pillar No. 33, Rohit who was driving, lost control of his car and went on to hit the pillar ahead.
Fortunately for him, the airbags in the car opened and he survived the crash with injuries. Motorists passing by noticed the accident and helped shifted him to the hospital.
The Asif Nagar police said no complaint had been lodged yet. They are investigating if he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
