Hyderabad: Special officers have designated to contain the corona cases in the GHMC ambit. The corporation has taken the key decision because of the increasing cases in its limits.
8 special officers have entrusted the responsibility for this purpose in which 3 are IAS 5 additional commissioners. Commissioner GHMC has issued orders in this regard.
The corporation has also made different circles as containment zones where the cases have increased in recent times.
The corporation has entrusted the responsibility of the different zones to the different officials. One official will be responsible for each zone.
Yadgiri Rao will act as an additional commissioner of serilingampally zone whereas Jaya Raj Kaneda will be the Secunderabad zone, an additional commissioner. The responsibility of the Kharitabad Zone has been handed over to the Shankariah. JC Yadiah will be a responsible official of the Karwan Circle.
Vijaya Lakshmi will be Charminar Zone additional Commissioner while Santosh will act as Rajender Nagar additional commissioner. Priyanka has given the charge as an additional commissioner of Qutub Ullah pur zone. GHMC has issued orders in this regard.
