Sources reveal that Shraddha Kapoor was interested in joining the project, but her ongoing commitments to corporate campaigns and brand endorsements made it challenging for the production team to finalize her involvement in the timeline needed. To avoid delays and keep the production on track, the team decided to cast Sreeleela, a rising talent in the South Indian film industry, who was able to accommodate the shoot schedule. Filming of the song commenced on Wednesday.
According to an inside source, two songs remain to be filmed for *Pushpa 2* before its scheduled release on December 5. “The special number with Sreeleela is one of the pending songs, along with a duet. The team prioritized shooting this track first to ensure it aligns with the post-production timeline, while they may film the duet if time allows.”
