Hyderabad: Caretaker Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today slammed Konda Surekha and her husband Murali for their remarks against TRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao.
Addressing at a TRS meeting in Warangal, Srihari challenged Konda couple to contest from Warangal East segment if they have guts. The TRS leadership gave MLA and MLC posts to Konda couple though their quitting the party led to joining by many others into its fold, he said. “Konda Murali should contest and win from Warangal East segment instead of campaigning that they will support Congress leaders to win”, he said.
Srihari also flayed that Konda couple was resorting to make false charges against the ruling party for political gain. The Congress alliance with the TDP and CPI and or others will not deter the TRS winning prospects, he hoped. The people, he said, are eager to vote for the ruling party for more progress and welfare.
Srihari said he got 15,000 votes majority in the 2014 elections. The Opposition was forging an unethical alliance as it cannot fight against the TRS alone, he said. Despite forging a grand alliance, the Congress, TDP and CPI will bite the dust at the hustings, Srihari said. The people are in favour of the ruling party and will vote for the sitting candidates and throw out the Opposition, he said. (NSS)
