Hyderabad: BJP state Unit President Dr. K. Laxman on Friday termed their party leader Arun Jaitely as a star in the country. He said that the country had lost a great leader with the death of Jaitley. Laxman made these remarks after paying floral tributes at his portrait in the state party headquarters.
Speaking on the occasion, he said Jaitely had fought for the ideals he believed in till his last breath. He also said that the former union minister began his political career as a student leader. Laxman claimed that Jaitely also abolished several outdated laws of the country as the union law minister and added that the BJP veteran also brought in several economic reforms as the union finance minister. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family members of Jaitely on the occasion.
BJP senior Leaders like Ram Madhav, DK aruna, G. Vivek, Bandaru Dattatreya and ramchander rao also paid tributes to Jaitely along with Laxman on the occasion. (NSS)
