Sudanese woman held with gold biscuits at Shamshabad airport

Hyderabad: A Sudanese woman, who was illegally smuggling gold bars into the country, was nabbed by the Customs officials in the Rajiv Gandhi International airport at Shamshabad. They also seized gold biscuits weighing 1.8 kg worth over Rs 55 lakh.

The Sudanese woman, who landed in Shamshabad airport on Saturday night from Dubai, the Customs officials thoroughly checked her baggage and found the gold biscuits. She was  taken into custody. (NSS)
