TDP repalle MLA skips Rajya Sabha elections, seeks apology from Naidu

Amaravati: The opposition TDP MLA from Repalle assembly constituency of Guntur district Anagani Satya Prasad skipped the voting in the Rajya Sabha elections held in the state today. He wrote a letter to the party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu and told him that he was unable to cast his vote in the elections. He said that he had recently met TRS party MLA  from Telangana state.

Yadagiri Reddy, who became coronavirus victim,  for a business transaction and added that he was in self-quarantine due to the same reason. He said that he had taken the decision to not harm anybody and sought an apology from the party president.  Although the party leadership has issued a whip to all the MLAs asking them to cast their vote, two of the party MLAs including Satya Prasad did not cast their vote.
