Telangana Chief Minister Emphasizes Growth Momentum and Development Initiatives

During the inauguration of the Integrated District Offices Complex and District Police Office in Jogulamba Gadwal, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao emphasised the importance of maintaining and strengthening the state’s growth momentum. While Telangana has earned top ranks in several areas, including per capita income and electricity consumption, the Chief Minister pushed for continuous success over the next five to 10 years, with a faster growth rate as a goal.

He emphasised Telangana’s success in surpassing Punjab as the greatest paddy farmer, and announced the forthcoming development of a medical college in Gadwal. The completion of the Gattu Lift Irrigation Scheme, which will further change the district, was also mentioned.

Chief Minister Rao lauded the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party during a public meeting for its unique success formula, which has contributed to the state’s development. He urged people to support and develop the BRS, emphasising that projects such as Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Dalit Bandhu, and uninterrupted power were put in place to improve people’s well-being, not for political benefit.

He emphasised the change in the Palamuru region, which was once plagued by poverty and migration but is now attracting people from neighbouring regions for agricultural employment. The completion of ongoing projects, such as Kalwakurthy, Nettempadu, Koilsagar, and Bhima, will allow farming on nearly 20 lakh acres in the old Mahabubnagar district.

The adoption of the Dharani portal system, which reduced the involvement of middlemen and facilitated direct benefits for farmers, was credited by the Chief Minister for the success of state projects such as Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, and paddy procurement.

Chief Minister Rao chastised the opposition Congress Party for undermining the Dharani system and indicated support for its continuation based on positive public responses in various districts. He proposed funds for municipal and village development in the Gadwal district, as well as the building of medical colleges.

Overall, the Chief Minister emphasised the need of maintaining the state’s growth momentum, supporting state initiatives, and undertaking development projects to better Telangana’s people’s lives.
