Telangana govt to notify 13,000 jobs in health sector: Harish Rao

Harish Rao stated on Wednesday that the state government would announce 13,000 jobs in the health sector within the next few weeks. The T-Diagnostics mini-hub and mobile app were launched by Harish Rao at Narsingi

According to Harish Rao who addressed the crowd there, massive efforts are being made to augment medical infrastructure at every level in Telangana.

“In addition to the 200-bed Mother and Child Health (MCH) facility at Gandhi Hospital and Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), a facility with 2,000 beds will be built at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS). Over the past few years, we have set up 350 Basthi Dawakhanas, which provide a range of health care services to the urban poor at the local level,” he said.

In Hyderabad, each Basthi Dawakhana offers 57 diagnostic services to patients, which will rise to 134 services within the next few months. Combined with the launch of 10 more mini-hubs, we now have 20 radiology labs that provide free digital X-ray, 2D echo, ultrasonic, and ECG services to patients, the Minister said.
