Hyderabad: The Monsoon session of Telangana State Legislature Council will start its business on September 27 at 11 am. In contrast to previous sessions, this Monsoon session will witness the legislature Council to hold its business and Assembly has no chance for its sittings as it was dissolved by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on September 6 for early polls.
At the directive of Governor ESL Narasimhan, Telangana Legislature Secretary V Narsimha Charyulu issued an order to this extent on Friday. The secretary issued a notification stating that the Council will meet for its 10th session at 11 am. However, there was no information on how many days the session will go on.
The information of the Council’s 10th session was disseminated to members of the Council, Governor Principal Secretary, CM Principal Secretary, Chief Secretary SK Joshi, all departments in Secretariat, Accountant General and other higher officials. The notification in this regard will be published in part II of an extraordinary issue of the Telangana Gazette, dated September 21, he said. (NSS)
