Telangana Run Draws Thousands, Celebrating Formation Day with Unity and Development

Thousands of people participated in the Telangana Run, which was held across the state on Monday as part of the Formation Day celebrations. With the presence of ministers, state legislators, public representatives, police officials, sports, and film personalities, the event had a lively and joyous mood. The city police in Hyderabad organised a 2k and 5k run from the B. R. Ambedkar statue to Necklace Road. Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Minister for Youth Affairs and Culture Srinivas Goud, MLA Danam Nagender, Greater Hyderabad Mayor Vijaya Laxmi, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Director General of Police Anjani Kumar, and other dignitaries officially launched the run.

People from all walks of life, notably young people, took part enthusiastically in great numbers. Renowned singers Mangli and Ram, as well as shooter Esha Singh and actress Sreeleela, wowed the audience with their performances, adding energy and passion to the event, which drew over 4,000 people. The Telangana Run allowed people to come together, celebrate, and reaffirm the spirit of unity and development made over the last decade. Mehmood Ali, speaking at the event, emphasised that Telangana, led by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, has emerged as the top state in terms of development. He also emphasised the state’s tremendous progress in many developmental and welfare endeavours.

Srinivas Goud emphasised Telangana’s unrivalled position in information technology and industry, and he asked the youth to actively participate in the implementation of development and welfare programmes. Telangana, according to the minister, has become a role model for the entire nation due to its reforms and diversified development activities. DGP Anjani Kumar asserted that Telangana is the safest and healthiest state in the country, while Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari expressed joy at the huge response to the Telangana Formation Day celebrations. He further stated that Telangana has received international recognition for its rapid success in a variety of industries. He praised the Telangana Run, which took place against the backdrop of Dr. Ambedkar’s 125-foot statue and the freshly erected state Secretariat, as a magnificent event.
