Hyderabad: Shravan Kumar Reddy belonging to Bellampalli town in Mancherial District, who went to America for higher education, met with his watery grave.
According to the information, the student, on the occasion of Easter, went to Boston Beach along with his friends on April 20 and entered the sea for swimming. But Shravan Kumar Reddy drowned accidentally due to strong winds in the beach. The body was fished out and efforts were on to shift it to India. The deceased was the eldest son of Reddy Rajaram, an SCCL employee from Ashoknagar of the coal belt town.
On receipt of the tragic news, officials of the Beach launched searches and traced the body. Shravan had been staying in the USA since 2014. He had pursued engineering before studying MBA. He was planning to found a hotel after the completion of the course. A pall of gloom descended over Ashoknagar in Bellampalli. (NSS)
