Telangana’s Nizamabad Gears Up for New IT Hub with T-Hub and TASK

On August 9 ,Telangana’s IT Minister, KT Rama Rao, will inaugurate a new IT hub in Nizamabad. This IT hub will also have an embedded T-Hub and TASK (Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge) center, with the goal of encouraging young innovation and skill development.

The Nizamabad IT center is part of the Telangana government’s effort to support decentralized growth in the IT sector. This decision is consistent with the government’s emphasis on the “3 D Mantra,” which stresses digitization, decarbonization, and decentralization. The government intends to expand the IT industry’s impact beyond Hyderabad by extending IT services to district headquarters and tier-II towns.

This project comes on the heels of the successful development and operation of information technology centres in Warangal, Khammam, and Karimnagar. Minister KT Rama Rao announced plans last year to build IT centres in a number of other districts, including Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Siddipet, and Adilabad.

The expansion of Telangana’s IT infrastructure is intended to create new possibilities for local talent, boost economic development, and contribute to the overall growth of the state’s IT sector.
