Tensions Escalate In Kolkata Ahead Of September 30 Elections; Trinamool Congress Supporters Pull Out Guns

On the last day of the political election for the Bhabanipur gathering seat by-poll on Monday, pressure heightened in the south Kolkata region in front of the September 30 elections, as Trinamool Congress allies purportedly truly badgering previous BJP state boss Dilip Ghosh while he was lobbying for Priyanka Tibrewal who is set in opposition to Mamata Banerjee.

Supporters Chant “Joy Bangla”

The incident occurred close to JaduBabur Bazar (Jadu Babu’s Market) in Bhabanipur region where Ghosh’s way was hindered by some Trinamool allies and he was pushed to the roadside. The allies began giving trademark “Joy Bangla” – a motto authored by Mamata Banerjee to counter BJP’s “Jai Shri Ram” – and yelled at him to return.

There was a fight between close to home safety officers of Ghosh and the Trinamool Congress allies and the gatekeepers were seen pointing their weapons to scatter the group.

Ghosh was cordoned off and detracted from the spot. One BJP ally was injured in the fight.

Ghosh Claims To Be Beaten And Pushed 

Addressing the media, Ghosh – the public VP of the party said, “Look this is the circumstance of West Bengal. They won’t permit anybody to battle even. I was pushed and beaten on the grounds that I came here to battle for our applicant. There is no popular government in the state. We will give a conventional objection”.

State BJP President Sukanta Majumdar said, “We contact the feet of a matured individual. This is the way of life of Bengal. Disregard anything. See the period of Dilip Ghosh. He is being kicked!

“Is it the way of life of the state? I have not taken in these things. At the point when Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee or Abhishek Banerjee go to Delhi we can likewise obstruct his direction and give ‘Jai Shri Ram’ motto. Have we done this?

“They are not just killing popular government; they are obliterating the way of life of the state. Individuals of Bengal will discard this pleased lady”.

However there was no response accessible from the Trinamool Congress yet BJP competitor from Bhabanipur, Tirewal said, “She can’t handle the rule of peace and law of Bhabanipur yet she fantasies about administering the country. First let her handle her own electorate”.
