The bride will be given Shaadi Mubarak cheque on wedding day: Minister

Telangana backward classes welfare minister Gangula Kamalakar said on Thursday that Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi beneficiaries will receive cheques on the wedding day itself.

If the application is submitted 15 days before the wedding, the cheque would be given to the bride’s family on the wedding day, he said.

Commenting on the delay in issuing the cheques to beneficiaries, he stated that delay in submission of applications is the cause for it.

Schemes such as Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi
