Amit Shah, the senior BJP leader, and Union Home Minister said on Sunday that India will flourish in the next 30 to 40 years and become a “Vishwa Guru” (world leader). During his presentation of the political resolution at the BJP national executive meeting here, Shah said “dynastic politics, casteism and appeasement politics” were the “greatest sins” and the cause of the country’s suffering over the years.
Himanta Biswa Sarma, a BJP chief minister in Assam, briefed reporters on Shah’s speech, saying the party’s victory in a series of polls evidenced public approval for its “politics of development and performance” and called for ending the politics of family rule, casteism, and appeasement.
Among other states, the saffron party said it would bring an end to family rule in Telangana and West Bengal and gain power in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha which have so far remained outside the BJP’s power march since it became the ruling party at the Centre in 2014.
He also took a shot at Congress for allegedly trying to spread anarchy after the Enforcement Directorate summoned Rahul Gandhi to testify in the National Herald case.
Taking aim at Gandhi, Sarma said that Modi never engaged in such “drama.” In his remarks, Shah said Modi absorbed all the poisons thrown at him like Lord Shiva.

Several members of Congress have fought for democracy within the party, according to the Home Minister.
In order to maintain control of the party, the Gandhis are not allowing internal organizational elections, he said. He added that the opposition is disjointed and opposes every good initiative the government takes.
The meeting concluded with the “collective hope and finding” that the BJP will grow in south India in the future, Biswa Sarma said.
