Modi Is Not Prime Minister, a Salesman; KCR

TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of working as salesman and of awarding all works to his loyalist corporates at the cost of the nation.

Addressing a meeting organized by the TRS party at Jalavihar on Necklace Road here on Saturday, the Chief Minister said the country’s image was dented because of Modi who has forced the Srilanka government for awarding a project to his loyalist business man and Modi’s act was evoked a huge criticism in Srilanka and India has faced an embarrassing situation in front of other nations.

Terming Narendra Modi as the worst Prime Minister the country has ever produced, the TRS president said the country was ruined in all aspects and nothing was done for the development of the country.

Modi is coming to Hyderabad for two days and will definitely speak against me,  I demand the Prime Minister to disclose to the nation what he has done during the eight years tenure and in which sectors the country has made progress, KCR asked.

“You are killing democracy and the federal system every day, you are bringing down the government which doesn’t listen to you and oppressing voice that doesn’t listen to you,” KCR lambasted.

Before Modi assumed charge, many Prime Ministers worked for the country. But,

Modi feels as a God and behaves that he will remain forever in the post. The PM should keep it in mind that he is not the first and will not be the last Prime Minister for the country. His dictatorship is increasing day by day which is a threat to the nation. The political changes will happen as no one is permanent, KCR pointed out.

People know what is happening in the country today. Farmers are agitated, unemployed youths are disturbed, inflation is increasing and PM Modi is misusing Constitutional bodies. Whoever speaks against him, he uses these agencies against that person,” the TRS president said.

Modi has made tall promises after assuming office first time. But not a single promise was fulfilled. We will not find a single promise fulfilled even in Torchlight. The Prime Minister always thinks he is intelligent. Modi made the promise to double the farmer’s income. In the reality, investment in farming doubled. Diesel, petrol, and power prices increased. The Modi Government has brought into force three farm laws. The peasant community fought against the draconian laws. More than 700 farmers sacrificed their lives. The union government branded the agitating farmers as terrorists and Khalistan gang. Ministers and BJP leaders attacked farmers, KCR said

The Chief Minister said that during Modi’s rule, India’s ranking in many sectors has fallen down at the international level. India’s rank in the Human Development Index fell down to 131 from 80. In Human rights, India ranked 119 against 85 in the corresponding year. The unemployment rate also increased to 8.1 percent. It was 5.6 percent in the previous governments. India also registered a poor ranking in the Happiness index and Environment index. It all shows the poor performance of the Modi government for the last 8 years.

KCR also took a dig at Modi for interfering in other countries’ elections. Modi supported Trump in US elections. India’s foreign policy is to maintain good relations with foreign nations. Modi was thinking US elections are just like Ahmedabad Municipal polls.

Modi should tender an apology for denting India’s reputation at the international level, KCR demanded.

The TRS president appealed to all his MPs and MLAs to support Yashwanth Sinha as the opposition party’s presidential candidate. He also called upon all MPs and Legislatures in the country to support Yashwanth Sinha and cast their vote according to their conscience.
