The Stamps and Registrations department’s revenue has increased from Rs 2,175 crore in 2014-15 to an astonishing Rs 14,291 crore in fiscal year 2022-23.
The Dharani portal’s success can be linked to the eradication of fraudulent practises, reduction in paperwork, and transparency of operations. Landowners and buyers have established trust in the system, resulting in widespread acceptance and ongoing expansion.
