Traffic restrictions have been issued by the Hyderabad Traffic Police for the Saddula Bathukamma celebration. The limitations will be in force on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m. The following are the specifics of the traffic restrictions:
From 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., general travel from Telugu Thalli Fly Over and Karbala Maidan toward Tankbund will be prohibited.
Vehicles approaching Ekbal Minar will be detoured to Telugu Talli Fly Over-KAttamaisamma – DBR – Indira Park – Gandhi Nagar – RTC Crossroads.
Traffic from the VV Statue to NTR Marg will be detoured at the Indira Gandhi statue (Necklace rotary) to Prasad’s IMAX and Mint Lane.
Vehicles from Nallagutta will not be permitted to approach the Buddha Bhavan Fly Over. These cars will be routed away from Nallagutta Cross Roads and toward Ranigunj and Necklace Road.
Traffic heading from Liberty to the upper Tank Bund will be detoured at the Ambedkar Statue to the Iqbal Minar ‘U’ turn via the Telugu Thalli intersection and onto the Telugu Thalli Flyover.
Traffic heading from Secunderabad to the Upper Tank Bund will be detoured at Karbala Maidan to the Bible House-Jabbar Complex-Kawadiguda-Lower Tank Bund-Kattamaisamma-Telugu Thalli Flyover.
Vehicles traveling from Musheerabad to Tankbund will be redirected at Kavadiguda Cross Roads, Children’s Park to Upper Tank Bund will be prohibited, and will be diverted at DBR Mills to Lower Tank Bund – Kattamaisamma.
In the case of RTC buses:
From 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., all inter-district RTC buses from Secunderabad to MGBS would be diverted from Sweekar-Upkar junction to YWCA-Sangeeth – Mettuguda-Tarnaka-Nallakunta- Fever hospital crossroad — Barkatpura- Tourist Hotel – Nimboli Adda- Chaderghat – Rangmahgal and MGBS.
From 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., city buses will be redirected at Karbala Maidan towards the Bible House – Jabbar Complex – Kawadiguda crossroad – Lower Tank bund – Kattamaisamma and on the Telugu Thalli Flyover.
For the convenience of Bathukamma festival attendees, parking spots have been established near Snow World, NTR Stadium, and Meekosam parking area near NTR Gardens.
