In honour of Telangana Formation Day, the Hyderabad traffic police have announced traffic restrictions in and around the Secretariat. The routes listed below will be impacted: VV Statue, Necklace Rotary, NTR Marg, and Telugu Thalli Junction are all nearby. Traffic travelling towards Necklace Rotary from Khairatabad/Punjagutta/Somajiguda would be redirected to Shadan-Nirankari. The Khairatabad flyover will be closed to traffic from Nirankari, Chintalbasthi, and Necklace Rotary.
Traffic heading towards Tank Bund-Ranigunj and Liberty from Iqbal Minar Junction will be diverted to the Telugu Thalli flyover. Traffic travelling towards NTR Marg from Tank Bund and Telugu Thalli will be diverted at Telugu Thalli Junction to Iqbal Minar Junction. Vehicles travelling from BRKR Bhavan to NTR Marg will be detoured at Telugu Thalli Junction.
Traffic from Bada Ganesh Lane Khairatabad to Imax, Necklace Rotary, and Mint Lane will be redirected to Rajdoot Lane at Bada Ganesh. On Friday, NTR Garden, NTR Ghat, Necklace Road, and Lumbini Park will be closed. In addition, traffic will be restricted on June 2 owing to a programme at Gun Park at the Assembly. Traffic travelling towards Gun Park from Punjagutta, Somajiguda, Ayodhya junction, Ravindra Bharathi, Iqbal Minar, Old Saifabad police station, Nampally, and Basheerbagh will be momentarily blocked.
