Prayagraj (UP): The mysterious death of three persons of a family in their house in a village in Manda police station area in Prayagraj district on Thursday morning springs police into action.
Senior officials of Uttar Pradesh have been directed by CM Yogi Adityanath, after he took notice of the incident, to reach the crime spot and start a thorough investigation at the earliest.
According to reports, Nandlal, 50, was sleeping in his field on Wednesday night. His wife Chabili Devi ,48, was sleeping outside their house while his daughter Raj Dulari, 16 was inside the house. Nandlal’s son was sleeping in their old house.
Police reached the site in the village after the information received by the authorities with forensic experts and a dog squad. They found the murdered bodies and said that from evidence as it appears that Nandlal, his wife, and daughter had been hacked to death with a sharp weapon. A police team reached the village on receiving information with forensic experts and a dog squad.
An occupant of Mandi village, Nandlal used to take care of the family by farming and animal husbandry. His wife and daughter had gone to sleep in their respective places after their dinner. In the morning, when the neighbors woke up, they found Nandlal’s front door open and on peeping closer, they saw him drenched in blood. The police reports of getting the word of the murder after the noise and fear that rose from the locals which followed upon seeing the site.
During this time, the dead bodies of his wife and daughter were also found. On receiving information in this case, the Manda police station in-charge immediately arrived at the scene and informed the top officials of the triple murder and arrived to gather evidence.
Top officials including Additional Superintendent of Police, Yamunapar Dependra Nath Chaudhary, reached the spot and started an investigation.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem and some people have been detained for questioning. The baffling murder of the 3 family members has left people scared and confused.
