Hyderabad: Depressed with the TRS leadership denying ticket for Suryapet town municipal poll, its local leader Abdul Rahim created panic by attempting suicide today.
As the ruling party offered a ticket to Sudharani, who will be fighting for chairperson posts and denying tickets to him, Rahim resorted to the extreme step. However, the locals saved him.
Though Rahim filed nomination papers, TRS did not give the ticket later causing heartburn to Rahim.
Curiously, both Rahim and Sudharani were conducting campaigning simultaneously in the town.
