Hyderabad: TRS MLA Balka Suman today criticized the BJP for failing to have a clarity on Telangana State.
Talking to mediapersons here today, Suman slammed BJP State president K Laxman for stating that they will build Bangaru Telangana. That was the plan of the TRS and the State government was doing its best to transform the State into Golden Telangana, he said. The BJP was making false statements for political mileage, he fumed.
Ridiculing Laxman’s comments as ghosts chanting Vedas, Suman asked, “Should we believe you for stating to develop Telangana into a golden State”. In a letter addressed to Laxman, Suman alleged that the BJP wants to provoke sentiments for bloodshed while the TRS was for distributing waters to crops as part of State development. The BJP government at the Centre shows partisan attitude towards Telangana State and failed to give funds to the State, he alleged.
Despite Niti Ayog recommending Rs 24,000 crore for Misssion Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya schemes, the Centre deliberately ignored the recommendation out of jealousy, he said. “When the Centre ignores State development, how is it possible to develop the State as Bangaru Telangana”, he asked.
He also questioned the State BJP leaders whether they met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urged him to give funds for Telangana development. Suman also alleged that Union Home Minister Amit Shah was still spewing venom on Telangana and slammed the State government for not celebrating Telangana Liberation Day. (NSS)
