The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has made a significant announcement, revealing plans to initiate the operation of 24 buses running from the Jubilee Bus Station to Vijayawada starting on October 18th.
These newly introduced bus services are set to cover various areas, including KPHB Colony, Balanagar, Boyn Pally, JBS, Sangeet (Pushpak Point), Tarnaka (Pushpak Point), Habsiguda (Pushpak Point), and Uppal (Pushpak Point), as well as LB Nagar.
It’s noteworthy that the ticket prices for these buses, which pass through JBS, will remain unchanged. The fare structure will be identical to the rates applied to services originating from the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS). Those interested in availing of these services can conveniently make advance reservations through the tsrtconline.in portal. It’s worth mentioning that, until now, buses from BHEL/Miyapur were the primary means of reaching Vijayawada via MGBS.

The decision to introduce this new service is a direct response to the concerns raised by passengers residing in the vicinity of JBS and Secunderabad. Several passengers actively engaged with the management of TSRTC, highlighting the inconvenience they faced having to travel to MGBS to access buses to Vijayawada.
Responding to these requests, the TSRTC has decided to extend its services with 24 additional buses specifically catering to the needs of passengers in Bowenpally, Secunderabad, JBS, Tarnaka, Habsiguda, and Uppal areas.
This thoughtful move by TSRTC aims to enhance the accessibility and convenience of transportation for the residents of these areas, aligning with the expressed desires of the local passengers.
