TSRTC launches a bus service to Ananthagiri Hills

Ananthagiri Hills is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Telangana and now scores of people have the chance to explore the hills via an exclusive bus service launched by the Telangana State Road Transportation Corporation (TSRTC).

Ananthagiri Hills bus service departs from KPHB every Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 am and arrives at Ananthagiri Hills at 10:00 am. The cost of the bus service is Rs 300 for adults and Rs 150 for children, excluding entry fees, food, and other expenses.

Buses will take passengers to four key spots in the area, starting at Padmanabha Swamy Temple. After exploring the hills in the area, the bus will visit Bugga Ramalingeswara Temple and Kotepally Reservoir.

There are plenty of water activities to enjoy at Kotepally Reservoir, including kayaking. A small boat can be rented for Rs 200 and kayaking can be done for 30 minutes. There are a lot of food stalls set up around the lake that sell Maggi and other snacks. Bird-watching and picnicking are great activities around the lake.

From Ananthagiri Hills, the bus will leave for the city at 4:00 pm and reach Hyderabad at 7:00 pm.

TSRTC launches a 24×7 call centre to assist its passengers

TSRTC has also launched a 24-hour call centre to cater to the needs of its passengers.

According to TSRTC Chairman, Bajireddy Govardhan, and Managing Director, VC Sajjanar, the call centre, operating since May 1, can be reached by calling a dedicated phone number: 040-69440000 and 040-23450033.

Passengers were urged to contact the RTC call centre for information on the hire charges for buses taken for marriage functions and excursions, types of bus passes, reservations, and cancellations of reservations. A press release said passengers could share suggestions and grievances to improve services.
