University of Hyderabad is No 2 among Top 25 Central Universities

Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad has been ranked No.2 in the outlook’s annual ranking of India’s top 25 central universities in the year 2020.

Prof Appa Rao Podile the Vice-chancellor in responding to these rankings said It’s a happy occasion to see the University of Hyderabad (UoH) being recognized in the top among the best 25 central universities in the country. We have to put in more organized efforts to reach the top not only in India but also globally. I am sure as an Institution of Eminence, UoH will reach that position soon”.

All the universities were assessed on the bases of their parameters academic and research excellence, Placement and Industry Interface, Facilities and Infrastructure, Admissions, and Governance.

The UoH is a public research university in Hyderabad, Telangana state. It was founded in the year 1974, the first chancellor of the University was Shri B D Jatti and the first vice-chancellor was Gurbaksh Singh.
