HYDERABAD: Veteran Congress party leader V. Hanumantha Rao today demanded the State government to hold 100 year birth anniversary of the National Flag in April this year. He asked the state government if it was not interested to pay tributes to Pingali Venkaiah who had designed the National flag.
He said that he would hold the program across the state and take the message of patriotism to all the villages of the State.
Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi he alleged that no just r was being done to the OBCs of the country despite the fact that PM Modi also belonged to the OBC community.
He demanded the central government to withdraw the creamy layer status to the OBCs of the country while making it clear no other community of the country has such a status.
Noting that the OBCs have 27 percent reservations in the country, he claimed that not even ten percent of the total reservations were being implemented to the OBCs of the country.
