Congress high command turns serious on Hanumantha Rao

Hyderabad: The controversial comments made by senior Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha MP V. Hanumantha Rao has caused an uproar in the party. The party high command has turned serious on the issue.

The MP and the AICC in-charge Manickam Tagore have sought a report on the controversial comments of the VH and asked the party’s national secretary Bose Raju to submit a report on the issue. Following this, Bose Raju has sent a report to Tagore along with the copies of the comments made by VH and newspaper clippings.

In his comments, VH had made serious allegations against Tagore and alleged that Tagore had not submitted his report on the appointment of the TPCC president to the party high command. He also alleged that Tagore had submitted a wrong report on the issue to the party high command.

VH further alleged that Tagore had received bribes from the aspirants of the TPCC chief’s post. On the other hand, the party high command is still scouting for the right candidate for the post. Senior party leaders and the party MPs like Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and A. Revanth Reddy have urged as the front runners for the posts.
