A controversial video allegedly showing Manoharlal Dhakad, a man from Mandsaur district, Madhya Pradesh, in a compromising position with a woman, has gone viral on social media.
The incident reportedly took place on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on May 13, and the car seen in the footage is registered in Dhakad’s name, according to transport department records.
While the video has triggered widespread speculation regarding Dhakad’s political connections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has firmly denied any association with the individual.

However, Dhakad’s wife, Sohan Bai, is a BJP-backed member of the Mandsaur District Panchayat, currently representing Ward No. 8. Dhakad Mahasabha Responds, Removes Office-Bearer Following the circulation of the video, the Dhakad Mahasabha, a community organization registered in Ujjain, released an official statement confirming that Manoharlal Dhakad has been sacked from his role as national secretary.
The organization distanced itself from the controversy, stating it does not condone such behavior. Attempts to reach Dhakad for a statement have been unsuccessful so far.
Mandsaur BJP district president Rajesh Dixit clarified the party’s stance, stating, “Manoharlal Dhakad is from the village of Bani, but he is not a primary member of the BJP. His wife is affiliated with us, but it is unclear whether he ever joined the party through online registration.”
Dixit also acknowledged having heard about the obscene video reportedly being recorded on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, but emphasized that the party has no direct link to the individual in question.
