Indian Skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma took Instagram as the platform to share the first photo of their baby daughter, who they have named Vamika. Uploading their first family photo, the Indian actress-producer expressed her heartfelt emotions that have pouring ever since 11th January, the birthday of Vamika.
Writing in the caption, she mentioned that she and her family are elated by the presence of the newborn. She told that she and Virat were living very happily and joyfully, but ever since Vamika’s birth, the joy and happiness have reached another level!
“Sleep is elusive but our hearts are full! Thanking everyone for their prayers, wishes, and good energy”, concluded Anushka.
It is notable that the couple prior to the birth of their child had sent out gifts and cards to the media and paparazzi requesting them to spare the young one special attention and to refrain from carrying out any photo that contains the newborn.
The note to the paparazzi reads, “We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support in doing it”. Both Virat and Anushka aged 32, met through a commercial advertisement, after which they dated for 4 years and eventually tied the knot in a private marriage ceremony in Italy on 11th December 2017.
