Hyderabad: The scheduled inauguration of the five-day Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada double deck AC train has been postponed following the demise of former Union minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday afternoon.
The AC train was scheduled to be flagged off on August 26 by Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi. The new train will start at 5.45 am from Visakhapatnam and reaches Vijayawada at 11.15 am. On the same evening, the train will leave Vijayawada at 5.30 pm and reaches Visakhapatnam at 11 pm.
The train will run for five days except Thursday and Sunday. It will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Samarlakota, Rajahmundry, Eluru Railway stations. (NSS)
